Create a join session

/syndicates/:syndicate_id/join_sessions

Mint a hosted join session that turns an invitee into a member of a syndicate you manage. The session is bound to one email; the recipient completes the join on wefunder.com/join/session/{id}, and you learn the outcome by polling this session or via join_session.* webhooks.

Requires write:syndicate_members (included in write:syndicates), operator permission, and an active installation of your app on the syndicate. Phase 1 supports mode: hosted only.

Join session created

401

Authentication required or token is invalid/expired. This error occurs when:

• No Authorization header is provided
• The access token is invalid or malformed
• The access token has expired
• The access token has been revoked

To resolve: Obtain a new access token using the OAuth 2.0 flow.

403

The authenticated user does not have permission to access this resource. This typically means:

• The user is authenticated but lacks the required OAuth scope
• The resource belongs to a different user
• The user's role doesn't allow this operation

Check that your OAuth token includes the necessary scopes for this endpoint.

422

The request could not be fulfilled: the app is not installed on this syndicate (app_not_installed), the syndicate requires a subscription to join (syndicate_requires_subscription), the syndicate requires a fund investment to join (syndicate_requires_fund_investment), the mode is unsupported (unsupported_mode), or a success/cancel URL is not https (invalid_success_url / invalid_cancel_url).
